Licensing Manager (f/m/x) - hybrid/ remote

The opportunity

As an essential member of our Ultimate Guard team, the Licensing Manager plays a critical role in establishing and managing relationships with licensors to secure new deals and contracts for our brands. The incumbent will bring forth expertise in licensing, negotiations, and business development, driving strategic growth opportunities for the organization.


What your impact will be

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new licensing opportunities for our brands/products.
  • Develop and maintain networks and business relationships with licensors, including negotiating favorable terms and agreements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as the legal team, marketing, and creative team to ensure alignment with brand strategy and objectives.
  • Manage contract negotiations and ensure adherence to terms and conditions.
  • Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape to proactively identify potential opportunities and risks.
  • Prepare comprehensive royalty reports, forecasts, and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Track and report on licensing performance, analyzing key metrics to drive informed decisions.
  • Provide strategic guidance to maximize revenue and brand exposure through strategic licensing partnerships.
  • Remain abreast of industry regulations and best practices, adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Establish operational standards to streamline processes within the area of responsibility.

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in licensing, business development, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing licensing deals.
  • Strong understanding of intellectual property rights and licensing agreements.
  • Excellent communication (written and spoken) and interpersonal skills.
  • Business fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to engage in both domestic and international travel as needed (approx. 10% of your time).
